Self-service environments require a different migration approach than typical IT environments, due to a different mix of content. Using a standard „migrate everything at once“ migration approach is difficult with this self-service content. Therefore, a period of time where the hosted Tableau Server and Cloud Tableau Server are running in parallel is necessary and should therefore be expected.
